🔥 Wagner ThermoQuiet QC833: Efficient Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set for Enhanced Performance Review

Brake Pads do not come with brake hardware that fits my pickup truck as advertised. No anti-noise record was included. For a disc brake to work, two key pieces of equipment are required. Paperwork wasn't included. If it wasn't such a problem I would have returned the item.

Finally installed about a month ago. Seems to be of good quality from a well known brand. 1st time for ceramic pads and it's too early to tell how quiet or less dusty. I'm still in my break-in period and wanted to calm down, so I didn't make any sudden stops to test my reaction. The clamps came bent so I didn't use them - instead I used the clamps that came with my recovery saddles.

Great, it took a while to put the pad in the holders provided but I prefer a tight fit over a loose fit. Also nice to replace the old rusty ones in appearance and they are something different (appear to be of higher quality/design) than the series. In use for a few months, less brake dust than here and no squeaking or other noise when braking.

The car is stationary. Yes. This is the first and most important reason to buy. They really work. Unfortunately, noise doesn't help in my situation. I bought a can of brake noise and they muffled it. but it's still loud. I also noticed that the brake dust is very bad. I've used these pads before with no problems. maybe it was once. Recommended but didn't work for me. I will be buying new pads soon.

Installation is easy. The included mounts didn't make much sense as they had an extra tab that would rub against the rotor. Just use the old staples. These brakes have a luxurious feel (sounds weird, but it's true). It feels almost soft, but they have better stopping power than other pads. They're not aggressive enough to throw you forward (unless you slam on the brakes), but they're solid and consistent. Yes, they are very quiet. but I didn't hear any other brakes either. There's nothing like taking apart your rear brakes and rotors, taking it all apart only to find out it's the wrong part! I've never had a problem with Revain's part finder or Wagner's brake products, but this time it was different. Maybe I should have bought RockAuto?
