Very bad stuff, I've already bought 5 in less than 6 months. They are gorgeous and leave your hairy patches like a baby's butt. Don't press too hard, it takes longer. My hair no longer falls out.

I bought Wahl because I need a basic rechargeable foil shaver that works. No tricks. And no overpriced substitutes. At first I was very happy. But I kept buying replacement foils, which fell apart after a short period of use. On some, upon unboxing, I noticed a crease near the top edge - an obvious manufacturing defect. 5 stars - great. There is a difference between gold foil and silver foil. Gold is very close and silver is close but slightly more durable than gold. Doesn't break that easily. Both color heads are interchangeable in any 5 star razor body.

I love my choice razor but buying a replacement foil or cap from our local store is a bit more expensive. Nice to have this as someone who shaves their head daily and uses foil about every 2 months. If you keep it clean and lubricated it should last about 2-3 months and I use mine every day.

I'm giving the silver foil head 3 stars because it's about to shave. I prefer Golden Head because it's very close. I didn't know Val was offering that silver head until now. I've been a walh customer since I started shaving when I was 16. I am now 63 years old so count the 47 year old customer. Great price but again I prefer the Super Close Golden Head.

None of them last long. This is likely a design issue, as the film usually detaches from the plastic backing long before the metal is stressed. These replacement heads typically last about a month with daily use.
