Unlike some more well known UV filters, this WAKA filter is competitively priced. It seems well designed with a very thin outer ring. I have not noticed any noticeable loss of light, flare, ghosting, loss of resolution, distortion or vignetting on a full frame camera with a zoom lens set at 24mm (angle of view = 74.2 degrees).
