They are big, it took me two days to get used to them.

They're big, took me two days to adjust plus a trip to the hardware store for extra bolts that attached the fenders to the bike from the outside of the brackets. They don't fit perfectly, but they fit and work.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Had to bend and cut a lot

It took me 2 hours of bending and cutting to fit. The fenders were not painted in places, the rear fender was dented. I had to cut and bend a lot to get them to fit. Overall a lot more installation work than I had to go through. Overall, I'm glad I don't need more than just this pair.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Some small things

Mostly happy. You look good.

again.1. They came without instructions. I don't care because I probably wouldn't read them anyway. I was able to install and setup in about an hour.2. Thin paint that scratches. A protective film must be enclosed for shipping and assembly. I will paint the whole bike.3. These are made from very light sheet metal which means they are fit for a road cruiser but won't stand up to any abuse.

Pros
  • Everything is fine! I would buy
Cons
  • old

Highly recommend these fenders

Absolutely! Read reviews about difficult installation, required changes etc. I have to say I don't get it. I understand that some people might not be mechanically inclined. It was a 15 minute setup on my 1950 Schwinn Balloon bike. slipped straight. The front fender was squeezed a little by the forks, but they went through. The equipment is fine. Simply pizza! Blip Blap, INCLUDED! I would highly recommend these fenders, at least for traditional style cruisers and large sizes. Yes, forest!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Great for tidying up an old bike

Before I start my review I thought I should give the US Postal Service a quick nod, nice job fixing any email, you get, keep up the work, consistent work. However, I received them in good condition, despite the USPS' best efforts to destroy the box. I bought these to use on a 1969 Schwinn Typhoon I built and installed a more modern wheelset with bigger tires to make pedaling a bit easier when I ride a lot. Some new parts were also needed while the original parts were being restored; nothing…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Mostly good but...
