I would have put on a silencer!

Seems quiet. A local muffler shop installed a muffler and tailpipe. The whistle was also purchased by Revain. I think you can get a better muffler by buying the muffler yourself.

Nice and short - muffler

The muffler is nice and quiet and fits my 2003 Buick Century perfectly except the tailpipe was about 3 inches shorter than stock, good if you plan on adding a fancy tailpipe tip. but if you don't put the tailpipe through a cutout in the bumper.

Inexpensive New Car Muffler

After a previously purchased (cheaper) replacement muffler left the car with a loud hum at cruising speed, I looked for an affordable, quieter option. This part fits the bill, fits great and is as close to the factory sound as I've found. I prefer to weld on the exhaust components so installation was easy. The hangers are already attached for a factory fit and a slightly smaller pack size.

good muffler - good price

It's hard to imagine buying a Revain muffler, they actually sell it. Shipping was fast (and free). This is an OEM fit for our 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.1L engine. It was easy to install, all hangars were present, and the canister portion was about half the size of the standard portion. Needs to be cooked, so if you don't have one, make friends with him! it's also very quiet, so now we can hear all the other weird noises that we didn't hear before.

Which STAINLESS STEEL silencer does not last 3 years? Walker 21346 Stainless Steel Quiet Flow Muffler

Seriously? Stainless steel muffler said to last three times longer than an aluminized muffler. Using that math I would have to replace the stock muffler EVERY YEAR or sooner. MY original OEM low grade stainless steel muffler lasted 17 (seventeen) years before needing replacement. LOOK ELSEWHERE for a quality long life muffler, this Walker SS rotted in LESS than three years after installation. These people are playing word games!
