Counterfeit - Not Walker brand - Made in China

This was advertised as a Walker brand clamp. The clips are just universal clip made in China. The clip loop is 3/16" in diameter, which I think is very thin. The photo shows stiffening grooves that give the clamp some strength. They are present in the actual part, but are VERY small - they are mostly cosmetic only. The loop ID is actually 2-1/2". I'm not sure if that matters. The collar radius is smaller and it will likely grip 2-1/4 ID pipe properly. Note: shims will not included, the nuts are

Low quality IMO clamp, I don't recommend.

The screws are broken and in my opinion it is not worth buying the muffler clamps, I do not recommend, yes they clamp on the outside of the pipe but deform the outer pipe a little to clamp the pipe together, they stripped the u-bolt first, and I got a better and cheaper replacement from my local auto parts store, edit: I went back to the store to clean it and looked at the box and it says Exhaust Mate (meaning Tenneco from what I can find online) but I can't find anything related to Walker…

Well, nothing against the Walker brand, but.

I really have no idea what the positive reviewers used these clamps for, I tried using mine to connect the exhaust pipe. To do this, you'll need to crush the large whistle you just slipped onto the slightly smaller whistle so they don't fall apart. Well when I tried this the nut pulled the threads right off the u-bolt on all four clamps I ordered. The next day I went ahead and drove 35 miles to the Autozone (nearest parts store) and bought 4 of their clips which were only $1 more per clip. I…
