I mounted it on my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 5.9L 4x4

I mounted it on my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 5.9L 4x4! fits almost perfectly when plugged in driver side, i had to use a pry bar to install it on my aftermarket BBK headers, if i had stock headers this would be perfect ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not bad

Installed on my 98 Ram 1500.

I installed this on a 1998 Ram 1500 with 5.9. Works well but had to widen the right hand exhaust pipe as the cuff just slipped off. I also had to bend the pipe where the pipe attaches to the exhaust pipe, pointed out the gearbox.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • No

Decent Y-Pipe - Exhaust Pipes and Tips

Good fit, decent cheap Y-Pipe for my Dodge 5.2 Magnum V-8. The creases bend when you squeeze, but for the price it works well. The biggest complaint is that this part will be covered in stickers when it arrives. You will need a hair dryer or heat gun to remove these stickers, they will not move without enough heat.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Damaged

Not like in the photo. for exhaust and emissions

The picture shows three pieces welded together, I had two and where they joined the outside seam was very nice with a smooth transition but inside was a simple 1 -inch round hole . . I cut them apart and attached them to the headers which were re-welded using a real notch. I suspect that this simple hole would have affected performance.

Pros
  • Strong finish
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Worked with a flexible connector.

So I bought this to use on a full size Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.9 liter V8 2WD engine. Technically it is for the Dodge Dakota. He screwed on the exhaust manifolds one after the other. Removes everything fine. The only downside is that it points the exhaust slightly towards the rider instead of straight back like the original. I used a flexible exhaust pipe to accommodate this and was able to reconnect it to the original pipe.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Operating speed

Fits as expected

I have a '97 Ram 1500 3.9L 2WD and I looked at it and it said it doesn't fit. I went to a few other vendors and they all said the same thing. The only issue I had with this answer was that I was told it would fit in both the Dakota and Ram for the Dakota 97 3.9L and V8 engines, but presumably not for the 3.9L engine in the full body Dodge. So I figured I'd spend the $60 and buy it and if it didn't fit I'd return it. So it fits!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
