Everything is bolted on but had to be welded at the local muffler shop where it connects to the resonator. Let's see how long this lasts. Everything has been recently replaced, all O2 sensors, spark plugs, coil, MAP sensor and more.

Worked great, fits perfectly. Yes, we had to do some welding on the existing exhaust system. Toyota Corolla is unscrewed from the muffler and exhaust manifold. Just unscrew and take to someone to weld. It took about 20 minutes. to take out the old one. 14mm screws PLEASE purchase a NEW O2 sensor BEFORE attempting to install it. The old one doesn't come out WITHOUT effort. FYI, the new O2 sensor is disconnected under the carpet on the passenger side.

This is a California part. It fit exactly as it should and did exactly what it was supposed to do. The additional tubing supplied was slightly different in ID/OD but could still be used by any competent manufacturer. Remember that this part requires welding and cutting equipment. Be sure to get the Walker Head Gasket 31639. The flange is a slightly different shape than the stock Toyota, but the Walker gasket seals well.

The device does not correspond to the idea of a straight bolt in use. The manifold-to-tube flange is oversized from the standard factory application, requiring a special donut or gasket for installation. I visited four different auto parts stores to find the right donut gasket. Walker must provide a "one-way" gasket as a true replacement for the screw. My 2004 Toyota Matrix had code P0420 for low catalyst efficiency. I bought it as a replacement for a factory unit. It was well done. The flange for attachment to the factory exhaust manifold was positioned correctly. The lambda sensor mounting plug was also OK. This unit requires factory exhaust modification.
