Not Good for Jeeps - Fuel System

This fixed the problem on my '07 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8. Unfortunately, he only lasted about a year and then died. If you have a Jeep, make sure it's made by MOPAR or you're just wasting your money.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Wire is shorter than other options

Worked great on my 2007 Jeep Commander. my jeep

Perfect match for my 2007 Jeep Commander. My jeep would occasionally idle and cut out at high speeds. I bought both this and the throttle position sensor and now it's back to normal.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Good for idle air control valves

Perfect for my '06 Wrangler. After years and hundreds of thousands of miles of keeping my old one clean, I decided to get a new one. Was a bit tired of the aftermarket but I'm very happy with my choice. Smoother idle and no codes, highly recommend

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

2004 Ram 1500 3.7L V6 ran at high idle (approx 1500-2000 rpm)

My 2004 Ram 1500 3.7L V6 ran at high idle (approx 1500-2000 rpm). I cleaned the old one and it helped for about a month, then went back to high idle. Bought and seems to have solved the problem!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Perfect for 1 1/2 years

10 minute install, idle spikes that dealer couldn't fix, works like new again (must love YouTube) 1 1/2 years it went out abruptly Terms of Service , Terms and Conditions. ordered the same unit again, wouldn't adapt to the computer, splashed and died, went back and bought OEM, better than ever

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Some minor things

Bad Match: Fuel System

after setting the IAC code also caused my truck to run very rough, with high idle and strange behavior while driving. After further research, it appears that Dodge prefers MOPAR sensors. Don't waste money trying to save money, if you own a Dodge pay extra money for a MOPAR.

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Being able to update

Easy to Install, Ready to Run

Given that the 4.7 liter V-8 engine in my 2003 Dodge Durango suffers from "rough idle" and weird interference on the freeway at times , internet research has shown that TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) and IAC (Idle Air Control) can be faulty. Considering the car has done over 100,000 miles and both are electromechanical devices I thought it would be a good idea to replace them. I cleaned the throttle body at the time of the change and attached a picture of the old IAC, as you can see it has…

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide
