Description of Enhance Performance with Walker ๐ŸŽ๏ธ Products 245-1138 Mass Air Flow Sensor

Walker Products Mass Airflow ( MAF ) sensor measures the amount of air by weight through changing voltages or frequencies. MAF Sensor sends information collected to the onboard computer. The computer uses this and other inputs to calculate the correct amount of fuel delivered. Symptoms of failure MAF include poor starting, engine surging, engine stalling, a check engine light, and no-start conditions. Sensors are non-serviceable, replace sensors that are non-functional. Great product great price

Bought for a 2005 GT, just what I needed. Very happy with the quality. The product came with new screws and something to guide them perfectly. This is a very thoughtful addition to the Walker name as the size of the bolts combined with the engine compartment heating and cooling means they become more prone to stripping when re-used. Great product, great value. Don't waste your money on overpriced competitors.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Upgrades

Don't waste your money buying a cheap

The two mounting holes didn't quite match my 2005 Subaru (had to make one bigger by about a millimeter) but it seemed to work great afterwards. For a month. Installed on December 1st, just after the turn of the year, it began to feel strange power fluctuations, which gradually worsened to the point that the car almost stalled at random times in mid-January. Replacing that junk with a higher quality sensor solved the problem. Problem.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • slim

Didn't fix my slight drop in performance in my 2005 Subaru Legacy GT. Worked basically the same as my old one so I can't say it's a bad product. Update June 2018: One year after purchase this part broke. However, I think it's worth it as the OEM is $190 so I can buy it 4 more times before it gets close to that price. My OEM failed 2 years before I bought this one.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Basically OK, but...

Fits and works great on a 2007 Mazda CX-7

Fits and works perfectly on a 2007 Mazda CX-7. Well packaged (note: Made in America label. Looks like it's really made in Southern California), shipped quickly (ordered Saturday evening, received Sunday afternoon with 1-day delivery) and feels good (nice seal that's nice to feel when affixed). was). ). That). Came with good screws. This should be the easiest car repair ever (3 minutes from start to finish). It's been running for two days now and I'm glad the check engine light is gone!

Pros
  • Builds confidence
Cons
  • Some small things

Waste product: Sensors

It is not possible to test the product in the factory before sale. Plugged it in, drove less than 30 miles and the check engine light came on again saying the car was running too lean. I had my mechanic check it out and confirm that the Walker MAF sensor is a piece of junk. I had no codes prior to the mass air flow sensor code. I put my old one back in the confirmation and the codes are different. I would not buy this product again. Maybe one day they will make a quality product that they willโ€ฆ

No problems with the sensors so far

So far this maf works fine, fits as well as the original sensor and for the price worth a try. If I encounter any problems, I will update the review later. I received this for a 2005 Baja Turbo that was suffering from random rich/lean fuel fluctuations. It stalled once last week while going down the freeway to go fat and reverse, and a minute later it was running fine again. It has no engine codes, but it is most likely a MAF or oxygen sensor malfunction. Another Subaru had a Maf error and itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Hard to say
