hiking and snow shoes for children have arrived. The quality of the shoe is excellent, it is easy to put on and take off with a strong velcro strap. Shoes are durable and tough in cold weather. The shoes keep my son's feet warm and comfortable. the spike on the sole of the boot can be easily opened by hand and prevents slipping on the icy surface. The metal claw piece is roughly flush with the sole of the boots so it makes noise when you walk down the street but not a problem in snow.

I ordered these boots on September 29th 2018 and it is now January 15th 2019 and they are going in the bin. My son didn't start wearing them until the weather changed (maybe late October) and they lasted as I wanted all season. My son is actually pretty picky when it comes to shoes, but that's why I bought them. They were strong and sturdy and I expected a lot from them. Unfortunately I am very disappointed. Now I have to buy my son another pair that will hopefully last the rest of the winter…

These are very big shoes. My 9 year old says it's comfortable and not heavy at all to wear to school all day. I think he's right because when you hold it in your hand it's pretty light. it is also unlined. I bought it as an alternative when it's really cold outside and the sneakers just don't fit.
