You need it. - drawing

I LOVE this ink! Beautiful colour, no sediment, flows well. I sometimes find it a little inconvenient when dealing with large projects, but it's definitely a good buy.

Pros
  • positive only
Cons
  • boring packaging

Excellent drawing ink

The ink writes very well and dries relatively quickly. This works well for art and is great for writing. I have included two photos, one with a standard card to measure and one inked on white paper with black ink for contrast.

Pros
  • acid-free and lightfast
Cons
  • crumpled packaging

It turns brown.

Contains no binder making it ideal for calligraphy. The ink washes off with water and dries within a minute. It seems it doesn't spread and doesn't show through too much even on regular notebook paper. Will definitely buy it again when the time comes.

Pros
  • 2.6 oz bottle
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

I love it. It's such a beautiful color

I use it with a pen for sketching and drawing. I love it. It's such a beautiful color. Applies well and dries quickly. Also works well with other inks. I will continue to buy this brand for a long time. Edit: The attached photo shows brown ink used as a stain in the background. The color of the wings is the color of uncoated paper. Shadows and outlines are created with undiluted ink.

Pros
  • Holds up well with a hand-dipped brush or pen
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
