Great after oiling the cutting board

I love the results after cleaning and oiling the cutting board. It's an extra step and time, but I need less lubrication and it looks great. It's pretty easy to use - just rub it in. I have never used wood wax but will continue to do so with this product.

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Appearance

For that extra layer of protection and shine

I already apply walrus oil to my cutting boards and in between (about every two months) when I notice the shine fading slightly I give boards a quick wax with walrus wax. Application is as simple as dabbing a clean towel with wax, spreading on a cutting board, then buffing. Walrus keeps my cutting boards clean and less prone to chipping!

Pros
  • Nice look
Cons
  • Concerns me

Wax on, wax on. .

I saw this product in a YouTube video and since I love making cutting boards I decided to give it a try. Honestly I like it. I applied three layers, polished in between and got a great result. I've only used it on "demo" boards so far so can't comment on durability compared to my usual oil treatment. I have used it in a side table made like a 3D chopping board (pattern only no juice cutting etc) and after polishing it is very good. Ground to 800.

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Volume
