Best Kids Coat for the Money

Bought this coat for my youngest son after buying myself a coat from the same brand. He loves it and the coat is still holding up. Definitely better than a Walmart or Kohls coat for regular wear. The cost is about the same or a little more, but this coat holds up the winter that much better! He's not a very active boy, but he certainly hasn't been idle this winter since he got his coat. The stitching is even, the zipper is fine, the material does not fray or fray. I think I can see a small hole

Pros
  • Keep The Cold Out - don't let high winds ruin your day. This hooded windproof coat has adjustable cuffs, elastic gloves and a detachable hood to keep cold wind away from the ski jacket.
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Good quality, true to size, warm winter coat!

I am a mother of four very active boys. My eldest is 8 years old and we have bought LLBean coats for him his entire life. In the last two years my two eldest have been going through growth spurts and have been playing very hard in their outside gear. I stumbled across them and decided to give it a try. I bought them in October and now it's…

Pros
  • Comfortable design. Stash small treats, trinkets or a tissue in the pockets of this boys snowboard coat. The sherpa coat has a chest pocket and 2 large pockets to keep your hands warm.
Cons
  • Only available in black

Great winter coats for the Northeast!

The only reason I chose these coats is because of the great reviews and I have to add another great review to this list! I was a little worried because the coat didn't look very thick in the photos and as you may know winters can get very cold here in the North East! I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived that they could be this warm without being too bulky. We ordered two coats for my two boys and ordered a size up hoping they would last a couple of winters. They are a bit big but of…

Pros
  • Wearable at all times. Made for more than just keeping you warm. This boys climbing jacket is easy to put on and take off and is perfect for classes, school trips, skiing, camping and other outdoor adventures.
Cons
  • threadbare
