Both ends don't snap into place. The coating on the male end is too thin. The tolerances are far from the same at both ends. I partially made the female end work by squeezing the end and attaching the male connector to the cable. I use high quality cables. Looking for a replacement.

Moving to a house with built-in appliances that fits my stereo system perfectly down to the depth. The RCA connectors at the far back were long enough to push the components out too far for the cabinet doors to close. These rectangular adapters did it. As long as they work well. No difference in sound quality.

I bought these to minimize stress on the connectors on the back of the receiver and subwoofer. Both are in a relatively small space, which allows the cables to be routed perfectly straight to their connectors. Nothing more to say. There are probably versions of the same idea that are a lot more expensive, but they definitely do the job and are definitely a good deal.

Fits RCA jacks snugly but not too tight. Build quality is okay but not fantastic (good enough for the price and my needs). You can tell that the ground pins on the male side aren't the best metal (thin and a bit easy to bend), but good enough for a snug fit. They're great for general use, but skip them if you need them use for applications with high utilization or if they are deleted frequently. I needed two of these for a TV that was mounted so close to the wall that normal RCA plugs wouldn't work. It looked like a good deal as I had 3 left. I bought this to keep my video player in my closet. The plugs loosened a bit after installation. I can unplug the cable and plug it back in right away and the cables are not loose so the male part of the connector is too thin. You can easily move the plug back and forth. I'm wondering if this is a marriage from the batch they sell on the secondary market or do they think this is normal? In any case, they are not ideal for a connector.
