Easy to use and install

My only suggestion would be to use flat Yamaha style 3 pin connectors that only use 2 pins for a cleaner install. Warn uses bullet connectors, which do not immediately mate with Yamaha connectors. Future replacement or service will make Yamaha connectors a faster repair.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Something different

Easy installation for external accessories

Works great. When installing on a mid-size 2019 Polaris Ranger, there is no need to disconnect the cables from the dash switch. Just cut the wires with a relay then connect the new ends to the wire and then connect the second set of green and black wires, the red wire from the relay to the fuse box and the black wire to the ground block. It took about 25 minutes. The remote control is mounted on the roof bracket above the steering wheel

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Available in white only

Works perfectly. in remote control systems

Works great. Connected to my 2019 Outlander can, pretty easy. It probably took me longer to find the winch contactor than it did to connect it. I wouldn't recommend connecting the wire to the ignition like the manual says. If the fuse blows, you're stuck without a spare fuse. I connected the power supply via the 12V charging port. The fuse blew, what's the difference, I'm still coming home.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Good product! - Towing and winch items

I'm changing my rating from 2 stars to 5 stars. I connected a bad power source and thought the remote was defective. Turns out the remote was fine and I was just an idiot. So I've had this thing for a few months now and I really like it. Being able to control the winch when I'm not on the bike by clinging to something makes life a lot easier. I like it so much I'm going to get a similar version for my jeep.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • No machine

Warnings. They do not match this article.

At this point in my life, having installed several Warn winches and Warn accessories, I have come to the conclusion that Warn, as a company, believes that all of its customers advanced engineers are . This was the worst for me as the winch I mounted it on (VRX 35 on the Yamaha Rmax) must have been a newer model than what the installation guide was intended for as my winch setup is not shown at all became instructions. Left many errors during installation. However, it works great.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Worked for my VRX 25 non-remote winch.

My VRX 25 Warn winch was installed at the dealership with no remote and there was no way to connect it. and it fits the bill perfectly. The remote has a nice bar attachment system, but I just toss it in my dry box as my bars are already pretty full. The remote control is small enough to fit in your pocket, but the buttons are big enough for gloves. There is also a lanyard hole. The receiver is also designed to be pole mounted, but only with some included zip ties. I don't have good mounts under

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some minor issues

How did I use my Warn without it?

I had my bike mechanic install this so I wouldn't mess up the wiring. I know a lot about changing the oil, but I'll leave the schematics to Shane. After I installed the new cable and it worked remotely, I took some notes. I used a remote controlled winch to pull out a small wooden beam to cut the stove to length. The Warn remote helped me wind things up properly and be in a safe position for the cord. I installed this beam where it was much easier to control the saw. I kept my old tightrope to…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Operating Speed

do yourself a favor

Just got this great Warn winch accessory for my Yamaha Viking 700 to make snow thrower control easier. Do yourself a favor and get one! It was pretty easy to install aside from a lost power supply nut my buddy dropped at Neverland! Apart from this small flaw, the installation is very simple. The hardest part is finding an extra wire to solder to. Tip: Find a red wire that's about the same size as the one in the included wiring harness and use a circuit tester (pretty cheap on NAPA) to make sure

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable
