I bought these to be 100% sure I wouldn't tear my hand when using the metal cable while winching! The gloves are of a very high quality and have additional protective pads if required. Use them a lot and still stay in good shape

Handle made of metal winch rope but flexible enough to be used with synthetic rope. And if you like these things, they look very cool. The gloves are reinforced with Kevlar where the cable or rope needs to slip through the hands.

Perfect for winch users! They are durable and 2x bigger than I expected and perfect for very large hands! They make great gifts and got to me very quickly. I would highly recommend them to anyone working with Winch's or needing a gift for a man.

Excellent gloves for this purpose. I ordered an XL but they weren't big enough so I gave them to my neighbor as a gift for all the help he gave me and ordered an XXL which fits my hand size 10 well. If you are unsure, I suggest ordering a larger size than you think you might need.

So they work fine. For me they are a bit big in the fingers; but I don't know if I could get away with a big breadth in my hand. You'll get a little warm if you try to pull the rope (plastic winch rope) backwards too far. But they work fine. Protect my hands while you connect and recover.
