Depends on your height

I have found that alpaca/acrylic blends like these socks are noticeably warmer than blends with a high percentage of alpaca (typically 78%) while still retaining alpaca's breathable/moisture-wicking properties to keep . These socks are very warm and very comfortable, but the only possible issue is the length. I'm 5'6" tall and the fully stretched socks hit just above the knee. Because the top cuff is relatively elastic (doesn't tie), after about an hour they go to just below the knee, but no…

Comfortable and warm, but very high

Very warm, but very high. I'm 5ft 5" and wear size 8 shoes and they come just above the knee. I wore them over leggings and under pants to run in sub-zero temperatures. They stand and don't fall over. They kept my legs and shins warm. I've tried them with and without another pair of socks, preferring to wear two socks. There is enough space in the calves to stretch. Comfortable and warm

WEIGHT OF GOLD

I am a 60 year old woman with freezing feet. I never thought I'd spend that much money on a pair of socks, but all the others I've bought for around $20 wore out quickly and weren't very warm. Despite the price, I decided to try these socks. I put them on as soon as they arrived and it was like a miracle. They were warm and kept my feet warm! ‼️I bought men's knee socks that are too long for me (5'3") but I just fold them. I LOVE these socks. I wear them all day in my cold beach house with very

luxury, warmth and moisture wicking

I bought these for my wife for Christmas and she loves them; they are surprisingly soft, non-itchy and thick. I understand that they are expensive but that also makes them a great gift. If there is that special woman in your life who is constantly freezing, she will love it. Best of all, you're doing yourself a favor by hearing that she's getting colder less and your heating bill might go down a bit. Durability - I mention this because if you're new to alpaca, the only downside I have about…
