I rarely wear these socks and after 2 months of light wear (less than 2 times a week) there are already holes in the heel. They're soft and warm, but probably better suited for lounging around the house. I am very disappointed with how they have held up.

Very nice alpaca socks - very soft and warm. They're a bit thin, but alpaca wool isn't usually very thick. It's very warm and can be uncomfortable if it's too thick, not to mention expensive. I wear women's sizes 7.5 to 8 and they fit perfectly. Wear them with a pair of shearling slippers and they're just perfect for winter. I really like her.

so far we like it. They don't sweat like most stretchy cotton socks we've had before, they're big enough to wear with boots or they can be folded up. They fit well but are still stretchy and should not grow back too quickly. The quality seems excellent so far. They didn't even damage the sock by piercing it with a plastic tag. We'll see how they wash it, but I have high hopes. They DO NOT have handles on the bottom so they are slippery on hardwood or tile floors.
