Wash Away Soluble Machine Embroidery Stabilizer Sewing Review

This product did not live up to its promises. Based on our own experience, it was difficult to work with and did not provide enough support for our embroidery. The only positive is that it is water-soluble, which makes clean-up easy. However, we would not recommend this product for Arts and Crafts projects. It simply did not do what it claimed to do, and there are better options available on the market.

What value! After going through a ton of Solvy, the cost got ridiculous even with coupons. This giant roll lasts a long time and is perfect for projects large and small.

This is good quality for the price. I use it almost every day for embroidery/applique work on lint free fabrics like towels. It does the job and is easy to remove even though I wasn't on the sidelines. After removing anything that comes off easily, I place a damp paper towel over the stabilizer to protect the item underneath and press down with a moderately hot iron for a few seconds. This will remove any remaining stabilizers without having to wash or wet them.
