🚰 Optimized Water Softener Bypass Valve Assembly Review

It was a clean replacement for my GE water softener. The hardest part was finding an angle to grab the locking tabs on the OLD block (I ended up bending some channel-locking pliers. When installing the new block, make sure it's pressed in firmly before I do the lube step as well on the teflon backed o-rings to keep them from sticking or cracking.The installation saved me from buying a new $400 fabric softener.

I have a Whirlpool WHES33. Mine started filling the tank all the way to the point where I had to dump the water out or it would overflow.
