Description of Water Tester Salinometer Gadgetut TDS&EC Meter
Multimonitor TDS/EC/Temp (salinometer) meter is designed to measure TDS (salinity), EC (conductivity) and temperature of water and solutions. The tester combines 3 devices: salt meter, conductometer and thermometer.
It is used in the analysis of water for one of the main parameters - salinity.
Device TDS meter for measuring the conductivity of water and its quality and degree of purification from impurities. The TDS meter measures the amount of dissolved particles (Total Dissolved Solids - hence the name - TDS meter) in a fixed volume of water.
Salt meter / conductometer / thermometer in one housing.
High accuracy of mineralization level measurements based on modern microprocessor technologies.
Auto power off function: The tester will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of non-use to conserve the battery.
HOLD function for fixing measurement results on the display.
Measuring range: salinity 0-9999 ppm, conductivity 0-9999 ppm us/cm, temperature 0-80°C (32-176°F).
Display: Large and easy to read LCD display.
Factory Calibration Specifications TDS Measurement Range: 0 - 9999 ppm EC Measurement Range: 0 - 9999 us/cm Temperature Measurement Range: 0-80°C (32-176°F) Measurement Step: 1 ppm, 1 us/cm, 0.1°C/ 0.1°F Accuracy: +/- 2% of full scale Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC): 0~80°C HOLD function: to hold readings on the display Ratio: NaCl (approximately 0.5) Power supply: 1 x 3V battery (included) type CR2032 Battery life : Approximately 700 hours of continuous operation Dimensions (mm): 154 x 30 x 14 Weight (g): 55 Operation Features The TDS meter is a modern portable device convenient for measuring the quality and temperature of water and air, as well as the presence of salt-containing components in water. When measuring the level of water hardness using the device, ppm is measured - (concentration of salts in one million particles of water). The salinity of water is determined by the following indicators: The body of the TDS meter is not waterproof, so do not immerse the device in water deeper than a sufficient level.
Store the device in a cool place away from sunlight and heat. 0 to 50 ppm - ideal water for drinking; 50 to 170 ppm - satisfactory water condition (after filter cleaning); 170 to 300 ppm - untreated tap water; from 300 up to 400 ppm - hard, untreated water from a source or natural reservoir; from 400 to 500 ppm and above - the constant use of water is dangerous to health.
