Excellent brush patterns. Works well.

Excellent brush model. If you try to use them with house paint to touch up small areas, they will be ruined and they are no longer usable as models. But before I did, they worked great! on the brush after many uses but I just clipped it off with small scissors when it happened. This is the reason for deducting a star.

"Premium Wood " is a good joke.

The first problem I had with this purchase was that they try to say it is high quality used wood and keep coming up with fancy terms to make it sound more attractive and misleading than it actually was. It's actually a cheap kit for people who aren't working on something important that doesn't require perfection. It's really not bad for $6, but there are better brushes out there for the more serious hobbyist who is more quality-oriented.

  • Lots of good vibes

  • Something is wrong

Beautiful, very inexpensive Prang hobby brush set.

Beautiful and very inexpensive set of Prang hobby brushes for handicraft use. For the price the brushes are really well made, have good bristle springs and a good range of brush types. My expensive sable brushes that I use for watercolor just don't work for modpoj lol. And since I don't only do manual work, but also make ceramics, I also use these brushes for this. Every artist/handicraft needs "good" but inexpensive brushes - they are great. deb

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Can hurt

This is a good price for a Prang brush set, but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. After a few uses, the strands started falling out and I have to constantly pull them out to keep them from landing on the paper. If you do not remove the loose threads, it will be very uncomfortable to draw, and sometimes they stick to the paper along with the paint. I'm disappointed. If the quality was good then the price would be better. However, this is not a high quality brush set.

  • Comfortable

Suitable for single use

It's cheap so expect it. With larger brushes, the hair will naturally stick out on the sides, so if some finishing work is needed, use scissors to trim the sides first. I've used them for toy paint, and although I've tried to "save" them by cleaning them with solvents and turpentines and then drying them, they end up with brush bristles in every direction except where they should be ( in a straight line). ) so I've used up and thrown away the rest. I ended up buying some that cost 5 times as…

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Dollar Store Brushes

These are similar to the brushes you can buy at the Dollar Store. The bristles are mediocre on some of the smaller brushes. Some of the bristles tend to point in different directions, so don't plan on painting in detail with tiny brushes (I needed this set for that). What I did to fix the smallest brushes in this set was take a pair of scissors and trim the bristles down a bit. This helped align them and squeeze them together a bit for tighter grouping. The large brushes are nice and full, with
