The colors have a great hue, with pastels, bright primary and secondary colors and deeper tones. Unfortunately the colors are cracked. So not the best quality, but great for on the go. Not my favorite watercolors but love the colors and the way they crumble.

When I saw this unusual set, I thought "Why do I need another watercolor set?" But I bought it anyway and I'm very happy about it. The colors are highly pigmented and are easily wetted. The folded size is very convenient and easy to carry. However, I would recommend letting the colors dry before folding back to minimize contamination of other colors. Overall this is a good paint set with a wide range of colors to choose from.

I bought this specifically for my travel bag. After using them on the go I fell in love with them and now use them at home for projects. I'm having trouble mixing hot pinks or soft purples and this collection has some wonderful shades to choose from. I rearranged the mini palettes and created a color chart. As another reviewer noted, it's sometimes hard to tell what a pigment is until it's been rehydrated. I highly recommend them.

I'm not very good with colors yet, but I need more than just a few colors. This 58 color set is just what I need for portability. It was a real discovery when I was stuck in physical therapy rehab after falling and breaking my hip in two places.
