Leaks when placed vertically

This thing leaks when not placed horizontally. I had to put it upright to connect the extension cord to the outside light. Rainwater just ran down the cable into the box and closed the connection. It's really hard to open and appeared to be sealed but ended up being completely useless! Don't waste money, just use masking tape or tape.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • There are nuances

Not worth the price

They had solid reviews so I thought it was good value for money and their design and end seals aren't bad but theirs are angled strikers are a joke. As mentioned elsewhere, they break easily and I partially snapped two out of four of them on the very first attempt to open them, so they no longer close securely. Today I will buy another brand and wait in the wings if they stop working, which I think will happen sooner rather than later.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Very durable and waterproof insulators

I bought these to use as insulators for my electric fence at the gate. Chains for the gate kept falling on the nuts of the braid, shocking people. They worked great as insulators as the holes on either end were large enough to hold 2 braided wires. The large rounded part was big enough to put the nuts on and the lugs blocked it so they couldn't move. They won't be blown away by the wind and are long enough to cover both lock nuts. I gave you a photo to show what they covered (top rail).

Don't worry about water resistance but worry about durability

I'm ordering two packs of 3 each. Goods correspond to the description. The body is durable. However, I am concerned about the tabs used to close these lids. They're obviously cheap, which calls their durability into question. Already on the first day one of the tongues broke off. I don't expect them to last longer than this holiday season or, if I'm lucky, next year's season at most. The tabs are flimsy where they flex, open/close and if you use a little force to open or close them they can…

Simple, does not work - electric

For locking the end caps on Christmas lights. The lights (several strings in series) were connected to the GFCI which kept going out. I had to go through each string and plug in each one in turn until I realized the short was being caused by connectors soldered into these caps. Water got in and degraded rather than improved the electrical connection as the water was trapped. Also, there are small latches on all 4 corners of this thing that are difficult to undo to open the lids and very easy to

I will do the work for a good price.

Purchased to cover the outdoor security camera's connector and its extension cord. This is the ideal size to connect as the cables enter end to end rather than perpendicular like some connectors. I think it will take time. I rated it a 3 for durability because I've only opened and closed it a few times. I removed it from the connectors to spray paint to better match my porch railing and the thin area where the large body clip attaches. the long edge of the lid is already half severed. I won't…

Works, but. for extension cord

The device is made of good material. The overall design lends itself very well to caulking. The only problem is that in cold weather, the four tabs on the corners of the cover are very difficult to detach. This is an addition to my previous review. I used them to close the connection between the extension cord and the Christmas lights. Tonight I had to unplug the extension cord from the light and found water in the cap. The side where the extension cord goes in appears to be waterproof, but the
