Works well, the remote control is not very good

Need a weatherproof outdoor candle for my lantern. That fits the bill. I set the timer and it works as described. The light isn't bright, but it's not a problem for me. I just needed a lit candle as part of my fall porch show. There is a small problem with the remote control. This works when you are standing next to a candle. But trying to get it to work from our foyer won't work - meaning it won't light the candle or turn it off. Therefore three stars.

Works perfectly! I love the remote control - although it only works for less than 60cm.

Was looking for an outdoor electric candle and so far it has worked. Haven't used it yet in the hot summer months, I'll have to see how it fares. But so far it's cool. The flicker feature isn't impressive, but it works. Not as convincing as a flame, but pretty bright! This is how you can adjust the brightness. Can't comment on waterproofing as it's in a skylight under a covered patio. If it holds up in the hot summer, I will definitely buy more!

It still works. More than a month continuously and it still works.

So I said to myself I'll put batteries in this thing, see how long it lasts and then write a review. But I refused. On May 21st I popped in a pair of NiMH AAs, switched it to high and set it to steady mode which eliminates flickering. I didn't turn on the timer so it runs 24 hours a day. It's now June 29th and it's still working although I think it's weakened a bit so I'll call it good and write a review now. So what's good and bad about this thing? Good: It's phenomenally effective.
