I bought these snowshoes for my son. Very nice looking boots. Much better than other snowshoes. They were great in the snow and kept my sons feet dry. We loved them both!

My kid loves his new boots, he is easy to put on and take off and they really protect his feet from very cold weather (10 degrees Fahrenheit).

These are SUPER CUTE and comfy for my boys but we are only 3 months old and they are so worn the soles are peeling off the shoes. The top scratches and wears out within a month. If you have kids who act like kids, you don't need it. If you just want them for a magazine photo, get them. Very disappointed I wasted my money on these cheap Christmas gifts.

The item was too small so I contacted the seller (not Walmart) twice for an exchange. The seller never replied. I have no choice.

Update - So we've been in the snow for some time, I have to deduct a star. We recently returned from a walk and our son's feet were soaked! He was so excited to get a chance to use an ice pick. The sidewalks were a bit icy, with puddles and some mud in places. Nothing deep enough to go over boots. But his socks and feet were soaked. Great boots. Great winter hiking and snow boots for the price! I bought two pairs for my 9 year old twins. I bought a youth 6 which gave them some room to grow. Youth size 6 is also suitable for women's size 8. These boots are definitely tough enough for everyday wear on snowy days in northern Idaho. They are worn at school, but are heavier and somewhat bulkier than normal athletic hiking shoes. I have bought several pairs of these boots with velcro closure and they fit my kids perfectly. The locking buckle is a little more disappointing. They were difficult to tighten and the lace closure literally broke the first time we tried to tighten them. We had to use them for a hike so I removed the buckle and laced them up regular style and they worked fine but I sent them back anyway and ordered the velcro again.
