Very Comfortable for my opinion

Took my first hike today with these boots, about 2 hours in muddy and rocky terrain. Very comfortable and great for a wide foot. I love that the laces never loosened while walking. I felt they are very supportive around the ankle but not too tight as to rub. The grip is terrific and did great when walking up and down hill in loose gravel. Only 4 stars because you can see on the right foot where the bottom of the shoe looks like it might start separating but I think some shoe glue will take care

Pros
  • The bellows tongue keeps dirt and debris out of the boot
Cons
  • The boot may not be suitable for people who require a lot of ankle flexibility

Very comfortable hiking boots!

Love these! We just went on a week long trip to hike in Arches National Park, UT. Hiked nearly 30 miles and no blisters or sores. Also tried them out hiking in the snow to waterfalls in PNW and seems quite waterproof. Very comfortable! Probably the lightest hiking boots I ever owned. As with all keens wide toe is lovely for people who have wide feet.

Pros
  • The KEEN Targhee 2 is perfect for hiking in any weather
Cons
  • The boot may not have enough padding for some hikers

Comfortable in my review

Comfortable right out of the box! My last pair I finally had to replace after 7 years! Can’t go wrong with Keen! Don''t like shoe laces. Won''t stay tied. Everything else is great..

Pros
  • Don't like shoe laces. Won't stay tied. Everything else is great.
Cons
  • The tongue is not attached to the boot properly and may cause rubbing

Comfortable and rugged

I bought one for my daughter and need one for myself too! I love Keene’s and these meet my expectations for good fit, comfort, and quality.

Pros
  • The stylish design looks great on or off the trail
Cons
  • The boot may not be ideal for people with sensitive feet

Lifesaving comfort for my feet!

Previously discouraged with Keens durability, I tried another brand for about 8 months, big mistake! Came back to the Keen Targhee boot & my feet are doing so much better. These are my everyday. Previously I have had issues with construction after a year or so, but the comfort outways this issue for me.

Pros
  • The all-terrain outsole can handle anything from rocky trails to slick surfaces
Cons
  • The laces may fray or wear out quickly

Perfect fit always!

I am using them as hiking and desert wear until I get back to the states and go to the mountains. They always fit perfect with great support! I can always depend on buying Keen Targhee boots no matter where I am in the world!

Pros
  • The traction sole provides excellent grip on a variety of surfaces
Cons
  • The boot may not be suitable for hikers with flat feet

Aesthetically great shoe not very durable

This shoe looks really good as advertised. The sole makes it even more appealing because it looks like it has good grip but after sometime the sole started to detach. See video. Good shoe for short term light travel. Doesn’t hold up backpacking.

Pros
  • The reflective heel patch adds an extra element of visibility during low light conditions
Cons
  • The boot may not be suitable for hikers with narrow toes

Keen fits every time!

I needed some waterproof hiking boots for an adventure I have planned in two years so, thought I’d better buy them early enough to break in. This is my second pair of Keen boots, my others are for summer/hot weather hiking and I love them. These new ones fit perfect the moment I put them on. Well worth the money!

Pros
  • In love with these boots & the size was as expected.
Cons
  • The insole is prone to shifting and may need to be adjusted frequently

It is my first hiking boots and it is 5*

Excellent quality for reasonable price. I visited a lot of different locations with quite different enviroment conditions in those boots and felt comfortable everywhere. Just after buying I wore them for simple home-work-home walk. I just wore them and went to the office, without any those inconviniences with new shoes. In the office, these boots were comfortable enough and not hot. The next was 18km hike through forest and park, where we even found some snow (photo 1). Boots were even more…

Pros
  • The reinforced toe protects your feet from debris
Cons
  • The boot may not be suitable for customers with bunions

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best hiking boots for bunion toes.

I have bunions and most of the hiking shoes are too tight. This one has a large enough toe box that allow my toes to move freely.

Pros
  • KEEN is a trusted brand known for their high-quality products
Cons
  • The boot may not be suitable for rugged mountain terrain
