I have 2 ring video doorbells as strong southern sun on my back door. This works great as a sun visor, keeping it from overheating in the summer and clearing snow in the winter. I had to drill a hole in the back to get the wires through but it was easy. I also painted it to match my house's finish and used silicone sealant between it and the siding.
