It would help if there was more weight on the base to keep it from tipping over. I use it in an open koi pond and the wind blows it away. Otherwise it works perfectly.

I am generally satisfied with the performance of this product but there is very little information in the owner's manual on how to fit the various pump spray nozzles. Also, my HSUP-1400F model came without any of the advertised suction cups for the four little feet at the base of the pump. I need them to better stabilize the pump in my backyard installation.

This pump has made my large pond crystal clear. 100X better than my $200 filter pump which I eventually gave up. Can't beat the price or performance of this pump. The fountain does not rise above the water, but plunges into the air.

I bought this pump because of the high price and the versatility of the advertised 'amphibious' performance. As a submersible pump I can say this is the best value for money! Pretty quiet for its size. Attachments are great. I use it to clean a 1000 gallon carp pond through a biofilter and well. It works great. However, I could not prepare this pump to run without water.
