Works great on inflatable pontoons

I bought this thing for my inflatable float chamber and it's compact enough to fit between the left pontoon and the seat! And that without modifications. I put my hand on it to hide it and passed the port patrol unnoticed. The output is perfect, doesn't look unusually fast. Instead of steering the tiller, I leave the propeller straight and steer the fins. Another benefit is battery consumption. This device uses such a small battery it's ridiculous. I take an 8 amp hour battery from my road bike

Very light and fast enough for a kayak

Installed on a Hobie Mirage after trimming the stock and making my own XPS foam cartridge plug with sheet metal reinforcement (Hobie is not shipping parts due to quarantine). 6.3 km/h at high speed (18 lb model) according to GPS. Low did not measure. Also, I used a 36v LifePO4 battery from my DC/DC converter e-bike and it worked really well. The 500 watt hour battery lasts more than 4 hours at high speed. Better than I hoped

The Watersnake T18s ASP engine arrived a few weeks ago but due to flooding in South Carolina I had to wait to try it out. I just installed the bracket on my 14.5 foot Native Ultimate kayak. . and added an Ever Start deep cycle boat battery I bought at Walmart for $76. The battery weighs 46 pounds on my bathroom scale. The first test run was in a reservoir (so I didn't have to worry about tidal currents in the rivers). I ran at full speed most of the time for about 3 hours. According to the GPS…
