This fan actually delivers more air than the original fan on our elliptical. It's a little noisier than the old fan, but the amount of airflow you get when we're on the elliptical is worth it. There were no problems installing the fan. I'm very glad I found a replacement at a great price.

Yes, it's noisy. However, you can reduce the noise with fan control software. When you're not using the software, the fan is probably running at full speed and making A LOT of noise. The software allows you to reduce the fan speed depending on the temperature of your computer. I currently have the lowest setting at 30 percent until the temp hits 40C.
