Description of πŸŒ€ Wathai 80mm x 25mm PWM Fan, High Speed 5000RPM 12V 4Pin Fan, DC Brushless Cooling Fan, Large Airflow Fan

The performance fan PWM version is ideal for high efficiency case, radiator and CPU cooling as well as other applications that require both extended performance headroom and PWM for speed control. This fan have high air pressure allowing for a direct and focused airflow making them ideal for the densely packed fins of a radiator. With the addition of the Ball Bearing, a longer lifespan and stability is possible. High Speed: This model is designed to maximize airflow and can be too loud at full speed for some applications . The reverse design of the fan frame makes the air volume more concentrated and the air volume is farther away. Great fan and just as loud as all the other ones when the speed is controlled. Below 2000 RPM they push much more air than silent fans at the same speed with no noticiable difference in sound level. It works like a charm. 80 x 80 x 25 mm ( 3.15 x 3.15 x 1 in. ) | Rated Voltage :12V | Rated Current: 0.45A | Airflow: 65CFM | Power: 5W | Speed: 5000 RPM | Connector: 4PIN

High airflow on computers and accessories

This fan actually delivers more air than the original fan on our elliptical. It's a little noisier than the old fan, but the amount of airflow you get when we're on the elliptical is worth it. There were no problems installing the fan. I'm very glad I found a replacement at a great price.

  • Impressive

Loud electronics in the case Fan

The thing is loud. Like oh so loud. I got it as an exhaust fan for my CPU because mine was making an awful noise. And I'd rather have random ugly noises than that turbine

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I don't remember

Good replacement for Synology NAS 80mm fan

I bought this to replace my Synology NAS 80mm fan. This fan has the same RPM, slightly more CFM but less noise than the original YS Tech 4-pin PWM fan. Although it's thinner. Works perfectly, but much quieter. Don't get me wrong, you can still hear the noise at a full 5000 rpm. But when the fan speed is set to cool or silent you don't hear anything, much better than the original. Don't believe the Noctua fan, as many so-called experts have advised. Yes . These Noctua are very quiet, but you…

Lots of air lots of noise

I'm leaving a good review because the seller makes it clear that this fan will make noise. The description says "This model is designed to maximize airflow and may be too loud for some applications." It's too loud for my application - the PC on my desk. The airflow is amazing. If you're looking for a fan that moves a lot of air and you don't need it to be quiet, this could be the one for you.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Good fan Internal components

Yes, it's noisy. However, you can reduce the noise with fan control software. When you're not using the software, the fan is probably running at full speed and making A LOT of noise. The software allows you to reduce the fan speed depending on the temperature of your computer. I currently have the lowest setting at 30 percent until the temp hits 40C. I can still hear the fan, but it's not intrusive. And as another reviewer pointed out, if you can hear the fan, then it's working. Software wise…

Great upgrade! at Computer Components

I have a Dell 7060 MT I7-8700 (mid-tower) desktop that I recently purchased and upgraded. One of those upgrades was replacing the original case fan with this fan. So, a few things to consider. The original fan was 12V/0.36A, rated at 40CFM, and very quiet. This fan is 12V/0.45A and rated at 65 CFM, it is not silent but not very loud in my subjective opinion. In fact, I like hearing it because I know it works and I don't have a false sense of security. I have to add that I've been in IT for many

Most powerful 80mm 4-wire fan available

I've had an old school Antec case for over 12 years. Eventually I dyed mine black because beige wasn't "in" anymore. A few months ago I decided to buy a new motherboard, processor and more. I checked a number of cases, but I didn't like any of them. The problem with this Antec case was that it only has three small 80mm front fans and two 80mm fans. I wanted the case to be big enough, but I needed to find really powerful 80mm fans that could be controlled from the motherboard. They ended up…
