Don't go cheap. Choose double ball bearings

Our Ecotech aquarium light's fan shed the blades after a few years. The delivery of the original spare part was delayed, so I ordered a Wathai fan with double ball bearings as a temporary solution. Aside from replacing the plug, it fit perfectly. Although it's rated for a lower current, it performs just as well as the original and is quiet. Delivery was very fast with Prime. I commend Wathai fans for delivering quality products.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons

Works but noisy for the case Fan

Worked great to replace a dead PSU fan but it's not the 28dB it claims to be. Not that big of a problem returning it, but buyers should be aware that the thing is VERY LOUD!

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • Ratio set

Loud Fan and Cooling

Louder than expected. High flow rate. Direct replacement for the internal 80mm SFX power supply. The build quality is good.

Pros
  • Very Impressive
Cons

Complete replacement for a 3D printer.

Bought for my Anycubic Photon S 3D printer This was a replacement. It took about 15 minutes. Ball bearings mean no more worries. Very quiet. Very happy!

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Useless features

Exactly as described but wrongly ordered

I looked at several fans and ended up ordering the 2 pin version instead of the 3 pin CPU fan. My mistake so I'll put this one on the shelf and order another. But it's a great fan for a graphics card or other device that requires a 2-pin power connector. It looks well built, connects sizes and turns smoothly. I haven't built it into anything so I can't comment on the noise level or durability, but it looks great out of the box.

Loud but breathable

I bought this fan to replace a failed 5V fan in the external drive enclosure, knowing it would need to be upgraded to 12V. The frame didn't fit directly into the case, although it was presumably the same dimensions as the fan it replaced, but I'm not sure which fan was marked as the wrong size. I had to tape the replacement fan to avoid sending it back. This fan is loud! Luckily, the external drive is just a backup, so I only turn it on a couple of times a month. It moves a lot of air so I'm…

  • Rugged build
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Super quiet and durable small fan

Bought for a speakerphone I wanted to renovate for a dance studio. The old 800-watt system's fan, AMP board, and 15-inch woofer all failed at the same time. Therefore, a general overhaul was required. This is a good unit so it will be difficult to replace with a new one and the parts on the new system will not be of the high quality that I wanted to use to repair the old one. The cost of repair and new was about the same, but still decided to fix the old. I couldn't find a fan with the same…
