Description of 💧 Watts Premier 531161 Pure Filter: Ensuring Safe and Clean Drinking Water!

This Watts Premium water filter replacement kit contains six, 11 inch filters: two 5 micron sediment filter (WP105311), two 5 micron carbon pre-filter (WP105351), one 50 GPD membrane (WP105331), and one 1 micron VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) carbon post-filter (WP105381). It is compatible with the RO Pure (WP531411, WP531407) and Pure Plus (WP531417, WP531517) line of reverse osmosis systems but will NOT fit the Watts 1/4 turn Kwik Change reverse osmosis system. The sediment pre-filter reduces dirt, silt and rust; the carbon pre-filter reduces chlorine taste and odors and conditions the water before it is treated by the reverse osmosis membrane; the 50 GPD membrane reduces TDS and other contaminants like chromium, arsenic, copper, lead, and the VOC Carbon Post-Filter reduces chemicals like MTBE's, atrazine, benzene, 2,4-D, and lindane. The major benefits of these filters for your under sink filtration system is to trap sediment, reduce TDS and VOCs, and eliminate chlorine taste and odor to provide clean drinking water. To maintain top performance replace sediment and carbon pre-filters every 6 months, VOC carbon filter once a year, and the membrane every 2 to 5 years with our easy push button release that doesn't require you to shut off your water source.

Good filter change.

I've been using these in my reverse osmosis system for years, will buy them again even though they're a bit pricey. Thanks RP

Works great, easy replacement for the original filters. No leakage and delicious water. Premium products are the best

Pros

Easy to change, great tasting water.

Simple, standard filters ensure great-tasting water. The only downside is the cost. I have no experience with other systems but these seem expensive.

Pros
  • A little above
Cons
  • Damaged

Does what they were designed for. Expensive.

We have been drinking bottled water for years and carry 5 gallons. jugs too long. I installed a reverse osmosis system in our kitchen and am very happy to do without bottles and coasters. After year 1, when you've used up all the filters in the kit, you'll experience "label shock" because you'll have to replace a year's supply of filters. They cost as much as a new reverse osmosis system!

Pros
  • I hold fists
Cons

Only 3 months since filter change

I have been using a reverse osmosis system for many years. I usually get new filters from Costco. Since it is no longer available from Costco, I received this filter set from Revain in April. Surprisingly, the new filter this time only lasted about 3 months before showing up at hard water symposiums. I know we live in a hard water zone, but new Costco filters used to last at least 18 months. I'm not sure why there is such a big difference this time! Very disappointed!

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Easy to use and have fun with my water filter!

My Pure Plus reverse osmosis system has been working flawlessly for over 3 years thanks to these great replacement filters. Why does EVERYONE buy bottled water? I will never understand if there are such products on the market. Simple instruction that can be found on the web at any time in PDF format, easy to uninstall and reinstall. Takes several minutes for 6 months, maximum 10 minutes for replacement and maintenance within 12 months. I moved my system from the apartment I originally installed

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Weak set
