Not Worth the Hype!

I purchased a water filtration system in the Industrial and Scientific category touted to be the best, and I was sorely disappointed. According to my experience, the Watts Premier OFPRFC OneFlow Radial does not live up to its claim. The filtration process is inefficient and leaves a lingering taste to the water. The only positive thing I can say is that it was easy to install. Save your money and look for other options.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Inefficient filtration, Lingering taste

Significantly reduced flow

I purchased the filter block 2 years ago and am very happy with the improved water throughout my home. However, now the filters serve less. The last filter only lasted 2 months before noticing a significant drop in water pressure. I regained most of the pressure after pulling out the filter and hosing the filter down until it turned white. There may have been more rust in city water this summer, but I can't believe it's that much more. The first filters I bought lasted 6-9 months.

Pros
  • Kitchen and bathroom plumbing
Cons
  • Minor issues

Significantly reduced consumption

I bought the filter unit 2 years ago and I really like the improved water throughout the house. However, now the filters serve less. The last filter only lasted 2 months before noticing a significant drop in water pressure. I regained most of the pressure after pulling out the filter and hosing the filter down until it turned white. Pros
  • Reduces limescale deposits in pipes and appliances, removes harmful impurities and thus improves the taste of the water.
Cons
  • I'll write later
