I have this to replace the pitcher style filter setting. To be honest I'm impressed. I needed some power tools but they just made things easier. I also used a level. You can use a tape measure and a Phillips screwdriver. First remove the bracket from the filter housing. You hold it where it is level and mark the screw holes.
