Not least. Too expensive for what you get.

A lot of junk if you want durability. Mine never lasted more than 2 years for $50! Plastic. I have no idea where they are made. A friend has the same results. They should cost around $20.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Good but not great

You can save the old one.

Relatively easy to install and works as advertised. Now I have a replacement. Soaking an old one in CLR or a similar product will remove the limescale that was preventing it from working. It will take a little time and patience, but you'll save $50.

  • 1 year trial

Worth enough to last a lifetime!

I purchased this part to replace the original valve that came with the Watts pump. I knew from the reviews that said this part would spend. It took quite a while, but considering how much they charge for this piece of plastic, the warranty on it should last forever. I'm pretty sure that the selling price (Revain) has nothing to do with the production cost. I still like the system, but the buyer needs to be aware of this.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

AquaMotion outperforms Watts

I have purchased 3 watt sensors that have failed after about a year and each time I have a hard time avoiding crossing the water supply lines to the PLASTIC sensor. I recently purchased a METAL AquaMotion valve and installation was easy. In addition, the people at AquaMotion answered my questions very quickly and were prepared to my complete satisfaction. I am planning to buy another AquaMotion valve for my other water heater! Do yourself a favor and get an AquaMotion valve, not Watts!

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Negligible repairability

Warning do not buy this brand (under two names: Watts and Grundfos)

I have two complete Watts circulation units connected to two water heaters. I went through the sensory valves one by one. These sensors, when working properly, last for several months; No way. The pumps have been working flawlessly for almost 9 months now. The sensors are so problematic that I cannot in good conscience recommend this brand to anyone. If the sensors were reliable enough I would reconsider, but selling small plastic sensor valves for $50 is a scam. They are NOT reliable. Be…

Must have extra on hand.

For a Watts circulator pump to work you need one of these sensor valves at the farthest point for the whole system to work. If hot water is needed immediately, this is one option and probably the least expensive. Pros: This touch faucet was easy to install as long as there was enough space under the sink to work. You feel like you have hot water right away. Cons: For a simple valve, this is quite expensive and there is a slight water hammer when the sensor is in the open state. When the valve…
