🔥 Efficient Boiler Relief: Watts Regulator 0342692 - Avoid Overheating Risks Review

This was a replacement part for a Hayward pool heater. The original regulator started leaking after 14 years. I couldn't find the same part number as it seems they are no longer made and this one, although rated for fewer BTUs, works just as well.

This is the worst product I have ever bought from Revain. It leaked immediately after installation and then the safety lever fell off while trying to adjust the pressure during troubleshooting. I went to Lowes and bought the same product from another manufacturer and installed it and it worked great AND it was half the price!

Check this item carefully to make sure it is not a returned or defective regulator! Right out of the box I had two of these leaks and upon closer inspection they had wrench marks. If you need to turn off the boiler, check it with a 3/4" GHT male x 3/4" NPT thread, 3/4" pipe and a water pressure gauge. - Seat at 30psi - NOT SUITABLE! Please also note that Watts will not cover the warranty if purchased from a homeowner or DIY enthusiast.
