Great paper for laser printers but matte on photo inkjets

I bought this paper hoping to print color photo invitations. On my Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II and Pro 10 printers, colors were washed out and black was a dirty mid-grey even with adjusted color profiles and even after heavy black boost. I was not satisfied with the print quality when using these inkjet printers (with dye or pigment based inks). This paper works great on my HP Laserjet Pro M252dw, but unfortunately this printer is not that good at printing photos. . So my conclusion is that…

Not suitable for card bases - maybe 75# paper.?

I bought this to use as a base for my cards thinking it will work as everyone recommends 110# cards. to this classic misconception about how paper is actually measured and was bitterly disappointed when the paper arrived. It's heavier than the 65# cards I've bought from Michaels, but not by much. I'm guessing it's about 75# cards compared to Michaels. I leave that because I can use it for matting as the mat doesn't need to be as heavy as a base, but I ended up buying 110# cards from Michaels…

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

I was concerned about this paper after ordering and THEN read negative reviews saying there was no cardstock or too thin cardstock be style. I just received the paper and checked it right away. I found it IS cardboard but not very thick. I would say this board satisfies most common people's needs for standard work (e.g. greeting cards, postcards, flyers, tabletop displays, etc.). If you want to create business cards, you will most likely need thicker paper. I am satisfied with the product. One…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent

Heavy weight, prints well, works great on paper

This is my favorite hardcover paper. I use it for everything from postcard and flyer printing to postcard making and general paperwork. Its bright white, matt surface absorbs printer ink very well. My multifunction printer does not have a direct print path. All paper should curl and unroll - this paper has never gotten stuck in my printer in all the years I've used it (I order this paper regularly). The paper accepts inkjet ink well enough that there is no smearing, even when I have multiple…

Ecru, not ivory, is the standard for cards

I have been looking for a very heavy weight ivory paper for the past 3 years. Haven't found it yet and settled on a pale sunny yellow called Ivory. This is NOT the color of the manila envelope as someone said. The Manila envelope is much darker, brownish-yellow in color and more similar in color to kraft (brown paper bag). It more closely resembles the color of the ecru tabbed binders most commonly used in every office across the country. I've found it almost impossible to find a real ivory…

Good quality paper at an affordable price

I would like to start this review with the most annoying problem that bothers many people who are looking for the perfect paper for them: paperweights. Most paper products are only weighed in pounds (lbs). This is particularly confusing because a weight in pounds must relate to a specific weight statement (e.g. cover, text, index, etc.), making it almost impossible for consumers to compare product weights. , especially if the product does not state what the weight measurement is. For example…

Pros
  • Excellent quality acid-free paper that won't rot
