The ball was fun but in the time we've used it I expected it to be more durable. The ball will begin to tear along the seam and the outside of the ball will begin to peel. The ball bounces on the water as advertised. Just not durable for the price.

My children have seen teenagers hopping and playing ball in the sea so I surprised them with this on my next trip to the beach. They don't bounce or jump easily enough for children. The smaller, grippy ball even sinks under water before it surfaces again. They haven't broken after a week of play though, so there it is!

There's nothing special about these balls that a $1 ball doesn't have. The big ball barely bounces off the water no better than the ones I found at the dollar store, the smaller ball bounces better but you have to be careful not to get in the way if you turn and get hit it will hurt it and I have a bruise to prove it so I wouldn't recommend it to young children or it ends in tears quickly.
