Very fragile, missing software

The display is very fragile and when mounted as a hat there isn't much to grab hold of. I shattered the glass trying to press it against the board. The datasheet says the controller supports 4 colors and 64 levels of brightness for each color, but the attached code doesn't provide any examples of this, only black and white. I'm not sure if the display itself supports multicolor or not. Other panels using this controller support white, yellow, blue and black. The data sheet also mentions other…

Bad connection in my review

It looks like a good screen but the connector doesn't fit. The Arduino demo code worked well and looked nice and clear. But the screen tends to flicker because the connection doesn't last. I have to keep trying to push it back into place. Also, it's a bit fiddly to connect to the Arduino - you'll have to use extra cables due to the female connectors. I would not buy again.

Works as advertised, was not disappointed

Looks good, quite simple in UI. Remember that many libraries only support 24-bit and this LCD requires RGB565, just trying to save the next guy some time.

AOK with price

Hoping it looked in higher resolution. Pixels are visible. No Minecraft-style pixelation, but at 32 pixels vertically you know the pixels are there. No complaints considering the low price, I wouldn't buy more, I would have found a unit with a higher rez.

Very nice little screen.

Much better than the 1.8" TN LCDs that occupy the same space. Viewing angles are about 70 degrees around the perimeter. I really like that resolution for the small size.
