Awesome device, one minor issue

This docking station is a game-changer for computers! It charges devices quickly and has multiple USB and HDMI ports, allowing for seamless use of multiple devices at once. However, it occasionally has connectivity issues, which can be frustrating. Overall, the WAVLINK USB 3 is a must-have accessory for anyone looking to upgrade their computer experience.

Useful but inadequate

I bought this dock hoping it would be the USB-A equivalent of a good USB-C based dock that I'm using for a new laptop. Unfortunately, due to bandwidth and power management limitations, you can't use all of the features at the same time. The HDMI output wasn't smooth and stable enough for me to use, so I left it disabled and instead connected the display directly to the laptop's mini-DP or HDMI output. Mac users - You can use Display Link if you don't mind being patient and don't want to spend $200

Pro (2012) and my Dell laptop. I set up two monitors for an extended desktop using a vertical stand for both computers. I bought this dock because it was affordable and it had multiple USB ports so I don't have to disconnect a lot of things when I need to use my Dell instead of a Mac. I don't use them for work, but sometimes I just need a PC for things my Mac has trouble with.
