Works well but only supports 2k. If I had noticed that, I would have paid more for the 4k version. But that's enough for my use case. I'm using it as part of a configuration to run 3 external monitors with my M1 MacBook Air 2020.

Update February 12: Stops working right outside the return window, very intermittent connection on one of my computers.

Great Product! Don't buy cheaper nameless brands because they're not worth it. The quality is just as great as expected. Installation is easy too, with clear website instructions and a simple driver search. The product itself is a bit thicker and bigger than the others, but as it works as it's supposed to, it's worth it!

I have a new MacBookPro m1 and you can only have one extra monitor with the default setting, so thanks to Ruslan Tulupov and Reynald Adolphe I figured that I can use this adapter and add a second monitor (so I have a triple screen) to my setup. It's compact, easy to set up, and of good quality. You don't have to pay big bucks to install additional screens. I'm so glad to find this display adapter.

This adapter is great for connecting a second external monitor to a Macbook with the new M1 processor. I connected it to an existing USB-C dock with an HDMI and a USB port. After connecting the adapter to the USB port, installation of the DisplayLink driver is required for the system to recognize the second monitor. This is an economical option if you need multiple monitors on newer Macbooks.
