This was the first adapter I bought specifically to have more ports on my laptop and iPad to connect countless devices ( (e.g. wireless chargers for mice, phones) and watches, flash drives, etc.). It was a great price and I'm glad I decided to order one. Unfortunately, it doesn't connect to my iPad Pro, which has taught me that only newer models have a compatible connector. Random but it was able to connect to my Samsung Galaxy which allows charging another device from its battery. * A micro SD

Not what I expected at all. USB-C port that was supposed to be for charging, it doesn't charge at all, I didn't know until the return policy was finalized if you would use it for the Samsung Dex station.

Most compatible and widely available if you are a Mac user, this is a must have, especially the LAN and HDMI ports help a lot

Connected the monitor via HDMI and it worked. But when I plugged my MIDI keyboard into USB, speakers into USB, and speakers into the audio port, the monitor went blank and showed "no input". Restarting the computer with all devices connected did not help. Even with the laptop plugged into the power supply, it just couldn't handle the load.
