Does not support Dell laptops that require 180W.

This will NOT power any Dell laptop that requires 180W. After three calls to Dell, I finally found out that they (and nobody else) make a dock that powers my G7 with a single Type-C Thunderbolt port. If you have two Type-C ports, you're spot on . I don't know, and depending on where you see/read Thunderbolt Type-C ports don't support power above 100/130W. On a laptop that uses 180 with only one Type-C Thunderbolt port (like mine ), you still need a second power supply plugged directly into the…

Pros
  • See description for important compatibility information.
Cons
  • I really don't like it, everything is fine

Dual monitor users - check resolution and refresh rate compatibility

I've been building computers for over 20 years. Gone are the days when something just worked. To my surprise, modern docking stations aren't all the same and can be very limited in supporting things like multiple monitors. To make matters worse, it's very difficult to find out exactly what's supported and what's not. While these products claim to support dual monitors, you can use either or both and very low resolutions and/or refresh rates.

Pros
  • Ports: 2 x DisplayPort 1.4, 1 x HDMI, 1 x Multifunction DisplayPort USB-C, 1 x Gigabit Ethernet RJ45.
Cons
  • Hard to say

One and done! c Notebook accessories

It took me too long to figure out I needed this dock, but in just a couple of days I changed my wfh setup. Everything (monitor via HDMI, headphone receiver via USB, wireless keyboard and mouse dongle, etc.) connects to this docking station. I just plug a Thunderbolt cable into my laptop and not only does it keep my laptop charged, I can see everything on my monitor and all of my connected accessories work. No more pulling out multiple mobilization cords, just one and you're done. The best thing

Pros
  • Power supply: 180 W AC 120/230 V (50/60 Hz) power pack. Dock Interface: USB-C Cable included: 1x SuperSpeed USB-C cable (3.3 ft).
Cons
  • weak

Dell WD19TB for the future

Overall great product - works well with my XPS 15. Good cable and build quality. Although in hindsight I should have bought a Dell WD19TB for the future because 40Gbps is so much better than the 10Gbps this unit is putting out.

Pros
  • Dimensions: 8.1 x 3.5 x 1.1 inches. Weight: 20.63 ounces.
Cons
  • Security
