My 19 year old gelding and I are very happy with it! The leather is soft and the rope is not too abrasive or hard. I ask the manufacturer for installation instructions.

I like Weaver products as you get a well made bridle at a reasonable price. But unfortunately I had to send this bridle back because it was too big. My horse has a head the size of an ear and I couldn't adjust it. Excellent customer service!

This item was a lifesaver. I have had so many problems with other bridles my horse has used. Decided to give it a try and it was like night and day. Easy to put on and use. The leather is excellent and very durable. It was a wonderful price too!

About a year ago I found out that my girlfriend doesn't like a bit in her mouth so my girlfriend lent me a hackmore and she responded well to it. So I wanted to get my own and decided to start at the lower end of the price range. For my money it has worked surprisingly well so far. You can ride it around the barn in a halter so I have better control on the trail.

I am very disappointed with how hard and abrasive the pieces of rope are on the nose. So aggressive that I can't even use it for fear it might hurt my mare's nose. There's little to no flexing, and the side knots are huge with big, hard blobs of glue covering them. The only reason I gave it a 3 was because the rest of the bridle is very good. And I can just cut the rope and order a new noseband.

The nose rope was too tight. My horse was very annoyed and I was hard and uncomfortable too. Also, it works very little. I could barely get it on my horse's face. I was disappointed because the reviews and description made it sound like it was a soft headdress rather than a hard one. Not happy with that. Haven't used it again and won't be buying it again. It was very expensive considering how cheap the material was.
