Weaver Leather Silvertip #95 Rope Halter: Premium Quality for Ultimate Control and Comfort Review

I had to use a rope halter to get my large thoroughbred out as he often flinched at me. I bought it to replace my old one which was quite long. It's really stiff so I have to be careful to tie it right but I'm sure it will soften over time. It's a light chestnut color with a star and a small stripe, while the navy blue looks great.

The color is cute, the rope is excellent quality and it fits perfectly. I like working with reins and lunge and she responds well. I like the stiffness of the rope more than other brands I've seen that can stretch and move too much on the horse's face. I'm glad I chose this one!

The pull size is perfect for my Percheron Big Head Mule and it's good quality. Most importantly, the line above the poll is a few inches longer compared to other brands, giving you something to pull over and no problem tying. I have two 16 hand Percheron cross mares with big heads! Luckily these halters fit and are well built. It is very hard to find big enough halters in my local feed shops and my options were limited to black, I use these and ride bareback a lot with my 2 girls, they are really light so they work great for me!
