Perfect for a small betta bowl

This item makes a great addition to a small betta bowl! Small, efficient and quiet! I've paired it with a Hygger Quiet Mini Air Pump and the whole thing is unobtrusive and makes very little noise. Low suction power so that the betta can still swim.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Out of style

Nice Sponge Nano Tank Filter

I really like this sponge filter. It's small and won't overfill a 2-gallon tank, and I like that it doesn't sit on the bottom of the tank. Unfortunately, the suction cup is not very good. Does exactly what a sponge filter is supposed to do.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

BUY THE PUMP SEPARATELY

Does what it's supposed to. PUMP MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY. Didn't realize I needed to buy one because I'm a first time fish owner and figured I didn't need one. Works well for my 2 liter tank and not too loud. I personally find the sound soothing.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Worth the money

Perfect size for the small 1.5 gallon tank that I've raised triplets in. Maybe it was too strong for the little ones as some of them got sucked in. It will be great when I put the beta in the tank. Keeps the water pretty clean. Water change every other day was changed once a week and even in two weeks. Make sure you suck the suction cup well and try not to hit the pipe too hard as it won't hold tighter.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Zero

A Find for the Picky Betta

My Betta, Bowie attacked her previous filter because it was making so much noise even with minimal adjustment. So far it seems much more acceptable for that. Combine with the Penn Plax AirTech 2K0 and control valve to make it perfect for ANY size aquarium with up to 3 HALONS. Supplied with sponge and practical compartment for filling in filter material. To be honest I've had it for an hour now so I'm not sure about its longevity but I'll update if anything goes wrong. Plus, this microfilter isโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

Great little sponge filter for small aquariums

I didn't know what to expect when I ordered two of these but wasn't sure if it was the real one largest. It ended up being a bit high for some 1 gallon cubes, but they work pretty well for some of the 3 gallon setups I've made for roosters. I used a 10 gallon Aqueon air pump with a splitter to connect both air lines and also installed a variable flow valve on the line which obviously received more air - this helped me control the amount of air (and therefore suction ) to balance. between twoโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine
