Don't buy this. on BBQ Tool Sets

The tongs are fine but the spatula is of very very poor quality. It literally flexed (and stayed like a cheap fork) when I tried to flip my first steak (16oz ribeye). If he can't lift a pound, then he shouldn't have the Weber name or Weber price tag. I love my Weber Genesis and I bought these to match but wish I had researched and bought a better brand. If they were thicker that would be great but the instruments are too thin and thick. I regret the purchase.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I don't have much to complain about, everything is fine

Poor quality metal - thin and bent in less than a year

Very disappointed with Weber product. Bought a set with a new Weber Grill Cart so I can hang it up. Both the blade and fork are bent in less than a year of use. Maybe because someone closed the box in front of them. I've compared the thickness of the metal to an old Faberware set I've owned for many years and they don't compare. Faberware products have not been bent for more than ten years. This quality does not match the Weber brand. Nice that the grill is better processed.

  • Availability
Cons
  • No performance

Like others, tongs and forks are a hit, a spatula is a big miss.

This purchase really broke my heart. We just ordered a new Genesis 2 LX and figured why not pay a little more for the Weber tool kit. I should have listened to the feedback on this as the spatula is truly awful. Mine actually dangles and makes a noise when you make a flip motion. What makes it so disappointing is that I really, really like the fork and tongs. I hate it when you're so excited to get something and it doesn't work. Now we have to pay extra to find a single spatula that doesn't fit

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

Seven years have passed and they still look like new.

I've had these grilling tools for seven years now and they still look brand new. They are very easy to care for and the metal does not discolour. Tools are cleaned with soap and hot water and washed in the dishwasher from time to time. No need for a fancy cleaning solution. The fork and tongs are five stars, usually my favorite tools. I would give the spatula three stars because it's a little flimsy compared to other tools. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good tool, probably equal to or better

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Only available in black

Good forks and tongs but the spatula is a bit lame.

I bought these because I was so impressed with my first purchase of a Weber grill that I thought you couldn't go wrong with grilling accessories from the same brand. I was right and wrong. The forks are good, but what could be wrong with that. Those are forks. They strike. Ideal. The pliers are good because of the locking function. They can be hung in the closed position, which I really like. Now for the only bad feature. The shoulder blade is good, but when I press on the burgers to "roast"…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Disappointing product

I bought this set with my new Weber grill. I thought the name "Weber" was a good product. I received the product and opened it - the tools seemed light - I found that they were stamped tools which were light. Within a month, a tool's rubberized handle began to fall off - I fixed it, but really, in a month? Also, tools are difficult to clean after use - as the tongs are stamped (not cast metal) they have rough edges on the inside of the tool for food particles to get stuck and you have to be…

  • Vulgarity

Protect your hands from grilling burns with these stylish BBQ tools

Tired of getting your hands burned when turning a piece of meat? I don't know about you, but that never happens to me. Before I got these awesome Weber grilling tools, using poor quality tools made my hands get a little warm at best. Either way, these are great grilling tools. They're long enough that you don't have to worry about singeing your precious arm hair. They are soft enough to complement even the most trimmed of mittens. I use a burger flipper and tongs all the time. I don't use a…
