One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

Didn't use, bought as a gift. But I twisted it in my hands :) As for me, it’s quite a convenient and thoughtful thing. Made in good conscience, nothing dangles. Places below for ignition unexpectedly a lot. What you need if you have a house or apartment with a terrace👍 Has pros: At first glance, a reliable and thoughtful design. Ease of use. Large capacity for coal. Cons: Maybe only the size . it's not very convenient to store at home. But this thing is not for the house either) a garage, a…

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

The only thing, when you need to throw coal into the grill, the starter is too big. But then either buy a portable one, or turn on your ingenuity. I rolled up a cylinder from a metal mesh, wrapped it in foil, made holes in it for air supply and put it on the bottom of the starter. Set fire to the ignition cube and quickly ignited 15 briquettes (although the foil eventually turned into nothing)

Pros
  • Ignites briquettes in 15-20 minutes, ordinary coal - in 10, Thoughtful design
Cons
  • No

Don't fry without.

I wanted to give this a good year of use before considering it. I bought a Weber Performer charcoal grill last summer and received a few key accessories including this chimney starter. I don't know how anyone can light a charcoal without either of these things. I know people will use a ton of starting liquid or buy those crazy baked booster briquettes, but it's so cheap and easy. You don't need lighter fluid, wax, or anything but newspaper (or the thick wrapping paper that comes with Revain…

Pros
  • cone base for quick start; eliminates the need for lighter fluid
Cons
  • No insurance

Well made and easy to handle when full of hot coals.

We have a yellow 2000's Simpsons Weber Kettle (with blue handles and Homer graphics) that we use with this Chimney Starter. Trying to figure out how much charcoal to use - 1/2 full, 3/4 full, or brim full? I've tried starting it with just paper, paper plus white starter dice, and just dice. One paper was not enough as a full run required a second fill of paper. A few dice weren't enough either. The cubes and paper almost always worked, although it still didn't fully start when I filled it all…

Pros
  • Chimney Starter lights charcoal quickly and evenly
Cons
  • Lightly dented

Simply the best way to light charcoal

Summary: There is no better way to light charcoal for your grilling needs. When it's done Pros: + Ease of use + Bulletproof + Price + Simplicity There was a time in my life when starting a barbecue fire required copious amounts of lighter fluid applied repeatedly over 15 minutes. Despite the warnings on the tin, I always applied it to a burning pile of coal because it was fun and I found it somehow useful. Those days are over. The charcoal fireplace works as follows: 1. Turn it upside down 2…

Pros
  • Constructed from aluminized steel with a thermoplastic handle that stays cool
Cons
  • Not everything fits
